For sale from an estate, this beautiful Champion Trophy gun safe! It's big and strong enough to house all your shootables and everything else of value in your house!
This is a model TY-50, and a good set of specs for the similar model they make now is on the Champion Safes page at https://championsafe.com/product/trophy-series-home-fire-gun-safe
This safe is a little over 72" high (+ about 4" for the pallet on which it currently sits), and about 43" wide. The box is 26" front to back, and the spoked handle adds another 3", total 29". When the door is open, it is 60¼" from the back of the box to the edge of the door. According to Champion, it weighs 1050 lbs. The lock is an S&G 3-number mechanical lock with a key lock on the dial. No key is included but if you want one they are available from Champion for $16 shipped. It is fire rated at 1500°F. for 75 minutes.
Champion calls this a 52-gun safe, but of course how many you can get in there totally depends on what you have. Take a look at the pictures and you can see how the interior is arranged. It also comes with all the original interior parts so you can arrange it however best suits your collection. Also notice in the pictures the door organizer, with 8 holsters, and numerous pockets of various sizes for documents, desiccant bags, magazines, cash, or whatever else you need to secure. Note too the electrical connection in the bottom right rear of the safe, to allow you to connect anything electrical: lights, dehumidifier, battery chargers, etc.
Although there are several dings in the finish, and I've included a selection of photos of those, you'll also note the mirror-like gloss of the door. Honestly, it does look a little used, but I haven't even cleaned it, much less tried to remedy any of the defects, so if they bother you I think a little work would make them disappear and make this thing a real show piece.
Take a look at the pictures and let me know if I can answer any questions or provide any different views, or if you'd like to come and have a look in person.
I'm offering it at about half the price of a new one, and it's on you to move it. Several companies specialize in that sort of thing, but I can tell you from experience it's not as hard as you might think. I can talk you through that if it helps. Right now it's in a garage, and already on a pallet, so picking it up will be easy.
As this is from an estate, no trades will be considered. If you have guns and don't have a gun safe, you need this one – and even if you already have one, this is a great opportunity to upgrade!
